I started Tusker Trail (www.tusker.com) back in 1977, when ‘adventure travel’ was merely a footloose bunch of adventurers guiding trips by the seat of our pants. Since my first climb up Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, I have built Tusker, mile-by-mile, into a highly respected leader amongst the world’s top outfitters.  These days, along with my wife Amy, we guide our charity fundraising climbs on Kili, as well as our treks in Mongolia, Nepal & Bhutan.  When we’re not on expedition or at our home on Lake Tahoe, we’re  scouting new locales around the planet, building Tusker’s next adventure.
