The Food
Our masterful camp cook, John Kitila, is the best in Africa. By helping him in the kitchen, you might even learn a thing or two! You'll enjoy a good mix of western and traditional African meals. And healthy too! We use all fresh produce and meats from open-air markets along the way. Restaurants along the way also give us a chance to taste some of the local dishes.

Staying Healthy
The trip is challenging enough without having to worry about stomach problems. For this reason, all of our meals are prepared with the highest sanitary standards. You will also be required to wash your hands thoroughly in chlorinated water prior to eating.
Drinking Water
Besides your guide, your best friend on an expedition is drinking water. We filter all of our drinking water through our bullet-proof Swiss-made KATADYN filters.
