 Tusker's community involvement in Africa and in North America goes way back to the early days. In February 2001 we decided to utilize our long experience on Kilimanjaro and run a Charity Fundraising Climb for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. It was a huge success, and the climbers raised $100,000. Since then Tusker Trail has been running regular charity climbs for many different organizations. To date almost $1.8 million has been raised on our climbs.
If you'd like to join a charity climb, we'll be able to team you up with an existing climb. If you wish to organize a climb for your own Charity, we have heaps of experience, and will assist you with your fundraising efforts.

Up Kilimanjaro For Breast Cancer Research
 In February 2007 , AMY MICKS, a Breast Cancer Survivor, with her pioneering spirit, will take 30 Breast Cancer Survivors and their friends to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research. It will be her second Survivor Climb. The first one in 2006 raised over $120,000 for Cancer research.
