Vehicles
In order to get to our remote areas, we use rugged four-wheel-drive Landcruisers. They are absolutely essential on our rugged treks. We have custom-designed these tough vehicles expressly for the demands of the African bush. Each vehicle is fitted with wide roof hatches, for all-round viewing. Our trucks are comfortable and extremely reliable.
Gear & Accommodation
We use top-of-the-line gear. You'll sleep on comfortable cots and mattresses in our custom-designed "sky tents". We have designed these tents specifically for the Trekking Safari, so that you have a clear view of the African sky from your bed. Accommodations are based on double occupancy, so if you're traveling alone, we'll match you up with a roommate. All bedding is provided.
We also have a complete bush-kitchen, staffed with expert cooks. We eat our meals in a mess tent, not far from the campfire. On our treks you'll also be able to take a shower almost every day.
You will spend the first and last days at the Rivertrees lodge, outside of Arusha.
