The routes we travel on the Wildlife Safari change according to the season. Because the northern wildlife areas are concentrated in a relatively small area, it is very easy to include all the northern parks on an extended safari.
The spectacle of millions of wildebeest migrating across the Serengeti plains is an event every traveler to East Africa should witness, especially from October to March. The small, but richly diverse Lake Manyara National Park has one of the highest biomasses and greatest diversity of vegetation than most animal parks in Africa. In between Lake Manyara and the Serengeti, one of the most magnificent animal areas on the continent is the Ngorongoro Crater. About 2 million years old, this collapsed volcano was created, and is now home to over 30,000 animals. Tarangire National Park has a particularly dense wildlife population from June - October. This national park is home to thousands of elephant, which congregate around the rivers in the dry season. Tarangire is also renowned for its large Baobab trees in open acacia woodland.
