 To most people, Kilimanjaro is just a mountain. As a mountain it is both unique and spectacular. Rising like a dark island in a sea of clouds, it stands 19,340 feet and is the world's highest solitary peak.
But those who have climbed Kilimanjaro know that it is not only just a mountain. For those who have struggled up the rocky crags, fighting for oxygen in the ever-thinning air, giving all to stand on the summit, they know that it is much more than a just a mountain. So much more.
