Dr. LAURANCE DOYLE
Dr. Doyle is an astrophysicist who currently conducts research at the SETI INSTITUTE in California. Prior to joining the SETI team, Dr. Doyle worked as an astronomer at NASA in the Space Sciences Division for 20 years. (See Doyle talking on Eclipses.)
When he was six years old, his dad gave him a map of the solar system. He was surprised when he found out that the stars are really suns. He remembers his thoughts shifting away from the earth to space. He never came back to earth.
That's when he knew he would be an astronomer.
