None of our Kilimanjaro climbs are technical. Tusker's professional world-class guides lead you up rarely used routes, revealing the "hidden" mountain of Kilimanjaro. As you trek through the clouds to extreme altitude, you climb with the assurance that Tusker Trail's professional guides undergo the most rigorous medical and safety training of all guides on Mount Kilimanjaro. Tusker Trail has set the standard for mountain safety, and all other companies use our standards as the benchmark for their climbs.
Any person in good health can climb Kilimanjaro with Tusker Trail. Only on Tusker's routes are you able to fully immerse yourself in the most remarkable habitats on the mountain. You will also face Mount Kilimanjaro's challenge without the crowds - all the way to the summit.
The most remote and untraveled route is the LEMOSHO ROUTE. On this route you will trek 180 degrees around Kilimanjaro's south facing glaciers. On our climbs we always build in extra days to allow you more time to acclimatize to the thin air at high altitude. This is the key to your safety, your enjoyment and the success of your climb.
On all these three routes we traverse some of Kilimanjaro's most striking and least traveled landscapes, including the base of Kibo Peak's dramatic south-facing glaciers.
Our professional staff in our Lake Tahoe, USA is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They are experts at "walking" you through the planning stages of your climb. Most of them have also climbed the mountain.
REMARKABLE CAMPLIFE
