This magical island has ancient Islamic ruins, and miles of white sandy palm fringed beaches and coves. Historic Stone Town is said to be the only functioning ancient town in East Africa. The ocean is warm, clear and blue and has
excellent reefs for snorkeling and diving. A
visit to a spice plantation is also a must.
