"My guide helped me during the hard times. He carried my daypack to the summit. Stephen was by my side at all times, even late at night when I needed oxygen."
Eddie Frank and Dr. Laurance Doyle run exciting astronomy trips to remote corners of the earth to view the Total Solar Eclipse.
What makes their trips so exciting is that Eddie designs a fascinating cultural and wilderness experience around the eclipse, while Dr. Doyle focuses our attention on everything above the tree canopy. Join us in Mongolia for the next Total Solar Eclipse.
FORCE FIELDS JOINED
Since 1983 Eddie Frank and Dr. Laurance Doyle have been running research expeditions in Africa. These two enquiring fellows have made groundbreaking discoveries about the astronomy of ancient African peoples.
A RARE MAMMAL
"In the presence of a great person," is how someone once explained Dr. Laurence Doyle. He is indeed a rare creature. When he was six years old he knew he would be an astronomer. When Dr. Laurance talks about the cosmos, people sit up and listen. He is a renowned astrophysicist who currently conducts research at the SETI Institute. Prior to joining the SETI team, he worked as an astronomer at NASA in the Space Sciences Division for 18 years.
