The logistics and planning that go into organizing your Kilimanjaro climb are vast and highly detailed. With over 34 years on Kilimanjaro, Tusker has built a crack Tanzanian team whose only job is to plan and execute a perfect climb. It is truly a well-honed machine.
From planning your superb meals, to immaculate camp gear, or organizing the logistics of an evacuation, our crew operates at the highest level.

All other companies only use one guide regardless of the group size. On Tusker's climbs there are multiple guides - unless you're climbing alone, in which case you have your own guide. This makes sense during an evacuation, as we only permit our medically trained guides to conduct evacuations, unlike other companies, that send you down with a porter.
Tusker's system makes your Kilimanjaro climb much more safe and enjoyable.

Expert logistics means excellent gear. As we run our own company in Tanzania, we own all of our equipment and vehicles. This means that we do not subcontract your comfort or safety; we set the standards ourselves.
We custom manufacture own tents, mattresses and duffels, and maintain our equipment to the highest standards.
