The Patagonia Trek is a singular 9 day journey, along a route that travels from Punta Arenas, through Bernardo O'Higgins & Torres del Pain National Parks, by Grey Glacier, Lake Nordenskjold then eventually leading to Punta Arenas.  You can add the Argentina extension to your route which will take you from El Chalten, Loma del Pliegue Tumbado, the Fitz Roy ranges and El Calafate.

We explore Chile's dramatic Torres del Paine national park by zodiac and on foot; then head for Argentina, where we embark on full-day hikes with up-front views of the Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre ranges - as well as the Perito Moreno Glacier at Los Glaciares National Park.

Without question, Patagonia is one of the truly great places on earth.

DAY-TO-DAY EXPERIENCE

You are taken care of from the moment you step off the plane.  44 years of designing adventure experiences has gone into each day of your trek.  Every step of your journey has been meticulously planned.  From each campsite, even which way your tents are facing, to the local lodgings and cuisine you'll enjoy.

At the start of each day you'll wake up to hot coffee or tea and a nutritious delicious meal to fuel you for the days journey.  Your campsite or lodgings will be taken care of while you accompany your guide on that days adventure.

Each day has a goal and a purpose. Which is to allow you to fully capture the beauty and exhilaration of the diverse

You couldn't ask for better guides or support team. Tusker's Patagonia head guide is Chilean Alejandro Marilican with 18 years experience guiding trekkers through Patagonia.

Tusker's Patagonia head guide is Chilean Alejandro Marilican. Alejandro guides with assistant guides, depending on group size.

Alejandro loves mountaineering, trekking , mountain biking, horseback riding and the exploration of wild areas in Patagonia.  He has been guiding and working in Patagonia since 2002.

Eddie & Amy Frank

The Patagonia trek was planned and devised by founding guides Eddie Frank and Amy Frank.

Patagonia provided for a rare challenge for our trek planners.  While Patagonia is a well traveled destination, Eddie and Amy's goal was to create a very unique experience that will leave you with completely satiated with the wonder that is Patagonia.

Mel Kaida

Your trek planning and coordination will be supervised by Mel Kaida.  She has 57 years experience preparing travelers for the wonders that is Patagonia.

Our guides are highly experienced and medically trained in all types of wilderness emergencies.  They have decades of experience guiding treks all over the world in some of the most extreme conditions.  As certified professionals, you are in the best of hands and they monitor your health every step of the way.
