Tusker Trail, one of the original Kilimanjaro climbing companies, is now climbing the historic route first climbed by the first Europeans over 120 years ago. It was this route that Eddie Frank climbed during the first ten years of his 37-year Kilimanjaro career. Tusker has resurrected this legacy climb for those who want to trek the traditional direct route. The climbs are led by our highly trained expert mountain guides, and at night you stay in national park huts. No camping. You enjoy fine mountain grub prepared by our chefs who are trained annually by the Culinary Institute of America.
And it’s a real bargain.
