CANADA SETS THE “ROOF OF AFRICA” HOCKEY WORLD RECORD
2013 – It’s “Hockey Day” on Kilimanjaro! A group of our Canadian charity climbers summit Kilimanjaro with Tusker Trail, and after spending the night in the crater, decided to do what Canadians do when they have free time, play hockey!
With Crater Camp as their field, and the “Roof of Africa” hockey world record on the line, they battle difficulties at high altitude to play the world’s highest hockey game at 18,810ft. Watch the physical prowess of these elite players under the roar of the crowd as they battle for the record.
