Mount Everest lies deep in southern Asia, and is the tallest mountain on earth. It sits on the border of Nepal and Tibet in the Hahalangur section of the Himalayan mountain ranges.
Everest, at 29,028 ft./8,847-m above sea level, is at the forefront of mountaineering history, and is surrounded by many towering and magnificent peaks. Four of the world’s highest mountains are located in the Everest region.

Trekking to Everest Base Camp in the early mountaineering days used to be done by friends of the mountaineers supporting their friends to the place where the serious climbing began.
That supporting trek has now become a pilgrimage of its own as thousands of adventurers seek to stand in Everest’s shadow every year.

Our journey takes us along ancient Sherpa trade routes where Buddhist prayer flags hang from every corner of the land, through the most dramatic landscape on the planet. Your eyes will pop at every turn.
Our own highly skilled mountain cooks prepare all of our meals which we bring on the trek. We do this to avoid the terrible stomach bugs in Nepal that have forced many a trekker to return home early.
Your destination is the foot of Everest, where climbers prepare to summit the great mountain. We stay in simple lodges along the way, hosted by the warm Nepali people.
