Tusker Trail has specialized in East Africa safaris since running its first safari there in 1983.

With our unparalleled experience in the safari world and our long list of friends and contacts in the area, it makes sense to take full advantage of this after your Kilimanjaro climb.

Thousands of climbers have embarked on one of our safaris through the spectacular parks of Tanzania after their climbs, and have returned home fulfilled and enriched by the experience.

Tusker Trail has teamed up with with one of the finest companies in Tanzania which now operates all of our safaris there. Hoopoe Safaris is a professional company, owned by an old friend of Eddie Frank, and fellow safari guide. Each safari is led by a highly trained guide who turns your safari into a mindblowing adventure.
 

On your safari, you can explore some of East Africa's finest game reserves, such as the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, Manyara, Selous, Ruaha and Katavi. Your safari is the perfect way to cap off a successful climb up Kilimanjaro, which, to most climbers, is an adventure all to itself.

Evacuation Coverage:
You will be automatically enrolled for emergency air evacuation coverage with RIPCORD, Tusker’s air evacuation company. We have negotiated very reasonable premiums for Tusker clients. These premiums vary according to the length of coverage you require for your trip, and will be reflected on your Tusker statement.

Group Size:
1-16 members.

Land Cost:
Per Person, double occupancy. Additional costs may apply for holidays. National park fees and flight costs can change without notice.

Single Supplement:
Single accommodation is subject to availability.  You may request to have your own room or tent at the hotels, lodges and camps, or to share with another group member.  If you request your own room/tent, there will be a single supplement surcharge.   If we are not able to match you up to share we will charge you the single supplement surcharge.

Includes:
Pick-up at Moshi hotel, drop off at Kilimanjaro airport.  4x4 Safari vehicle, professional safari guide, national park fees and meals as described  on the detailed itinerary.

Excludes:
Gratuities, personal items, preferred drinks, holiday supplements, village visits..
