We trek in the Altai Tavn Bogd, an area virtually untouched by tourism. This region of Mongolia has remained pristine for centuries, and the people who live here are as unique as they are fascinating.
This part of Mongolia is so remote that we never hear a jet overhead. Tusker brings - years years of trekking experience to this trip of a lifetime.

Tusker's owner/guides, Eddie and Amy Frank lead the trek they created in 2006. On board is our local guide, Dosjan. We bring Alex Minja, our head Kilimanjaro chef to prepare extraordinary meals, as well as our Mongolian camp crew of 16. We also employ a small herd of camels and horses.

Tusker Trail partners with the Culinary Institute of America to train our chefs. When designing our trekking menu, we focus not only on variety and great taste, but on the demanding nutritional needs of the trek.
