Trekking up Quilquehuanca valley, we make our way to our highest sleeping spot just below 16,000-ft. On the way we take in spectacular lake Tullpacocha, which is fed by the glacial runoff from the 19,000-ft. Mt. Tullparaju.
We also stop in at the magnificent Lake Cuchilla. Our camp at Huapi sits high on a plateau, with spectacular views of the huge peaks Chinchey and Pucarranra, both over 20,000-ft., and the Huanzan Mountains. Overnight at Tusker Camp.
