RETURN TO KAFUE PART I

Tusker founder Eddie Frank organized an anti-poaching mission in Kafue National Park, Zambia’s oldest and largest park, in the summer of 1994.

During the mission, Eddie and his team were shot at many times as they worked to confiscate illegal ivory and meat, and catch government officials red-handed in the game. Their fearlessness made them local legends.

In March 2011, Scott Stewart, President of Carlson Wagonlit Travel, climbed Kilimanjaro with three friends to raise money for their local hospital.

Not only did the team summit successfully, they also blew their fundraising goal out of the water, raising over $100,000 which will be used to build a cancer treatment facility. Upon their return home, Scott sent the following letter to Tusker.
